This charming stone farmhouse is situated only 5 km away from the pleasant medieval town of Radda in Chianti in the beautiful, panoramic hills covered with vineyards, olive groves and woods belonging to a renowned wine estate. It is an old water mill partially hidden among the woods and partially surrounded by olive groves on a very well kept piece of land, gently rolling down to the bottom of the valley. No other houses are located nearby, perfect for guests who want total privacy. The farmhouse is located 900 meters from the main road at the end of a "strada bianca" or unpaved road, which is in excellent condition.
From the panoramic covered terrace, one can enjoy a view of Radda in the distance. Below the farmhouse is a very nice swimming pool, 6X12m. The house is about 150 sqm large and built on 2 floors and sleeps up to 6 guests, an ideal property for 3 couples or a family.
First floor: Living room with open fireplace, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with tub and 1 with shower. Ground floor (separate entrance but adjacent): 1 large, suite size double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower. There is no internal staircase to enter the rest of the farmhouse.
The owners have beautifully restored the house dates back to the 15th century and it. The interiors are finely decorated and tastefully furnished with antiques and traditional Tuscan materials. It has wood beamed ceilings, original terracotta floors, and a beautiful old open fireplace located in the kitchen.
