This is truly a villa to dream about - as close to a country retreat in Tuscany as one could hope for. Set in a haven of natural beauty and tranquility (and surrounded by 25 hectares of Brunello producing vineyards), this charming stone-built house is 11 kms from Montalcino. Lovingly restored, it consists of the main farmhouse and a delightful annex suitable for four people.
The Villa has been perfectly restored to very high standards, using original materials and keeping all the original features. It is elegantly and tastefully furnished with a comfortable mixture of antique, modern and traditional Tuscan styles.
The main house is on two floors. The ground floor has a spacious living room with fireplace, dining room, eat - in kitchen with a dishwasher and access to the panoramic terrace as well as a powder room. The first floor has three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (with showers) and a fourth bedroom (with a French bed) - again with an en-suite shower bathroom.
The house is air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV. It has a splendid swimming pool, set in terraced lawns as well as a delightful gazebo. The Villa has a covered loggia, equipped with an original pizza oven and BBQ, furnished with tables and chairs and perfect for alfresco summer dining.
In the garden, there is a small building equipped with a modern gym as well as a jacuzzi and sauna. The annex is also on 2 floors. The ground floor has a living/dining room with open kitchen and fireplace and one twin bedroom. The first floor has a double bedroom with en-suite bath tub. This extra apartment is only rented in conjunction with the main villa.
The main villa sleeps 8, another 4 can sleep in the annex.
