Walking into this spacious, bright living space you are immediately swept over by the elegance and airiness of your home away from home. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms (one with shower), making it easy to accommodate a family with kids or 3 couples looking for a "pied-a-terre" centrally located and with such well-thought out amenities.
A long hallway connects the various rooms, with the master and the twin bedrooms facing the terrace and the street and the double bedroom facing the back of the building. The living room with its Asian and Italian inspired furnishing give you a taste of the style found in many contemporary Parisian flats. The room has two floor-to-ceiling windowed doors overlooking the terrace and allowing for an abundance of natural light.
We've installed blinds that will provide added privacy. This in addition to awnings installed at every window facing the terrace will give you added shading on a warm Summer's day. Relax and enjoy viewing a movie or getting the latest international news on the large screen TV or listen to the radio or your CDs on our stereo. You'll never be far from friends when you can make use of the Mac computer to access your email and share your adventures with friends.
A telephone which allows you to make unlimited local and some long distance calls also make it easy to keep in touch. Our dining table expands, with an extension to sit up to 8 people. The sofa (not yet shown), will sleep one child comfortably. The master bedroom, just to the right of the living room, has been painted in warm caramel/coffee colored tones and decorated in shades of red and gold to truly give the impression of a royal suite. From this room you can also access the terrace and sit out enjoying a nice glass of wine without having to disturb any one else in the apartment. The terrace has lamps that can be turned on at each window leading out to it.
An inviting king-size bed and a reading chair are part of the room's furnishing that might have you deciding to stay in a while longer to linger in this large bedroom. The "Blue Room" - our twin bedroom, is located to the left of the living room and also provides access to the terrace. A large wall to wall wardrobe allows for you to easily unpack and not have too much clutter in the room.
The twin beds can be put together with a mattress pad to form a queen-size (160x200cm) bed. The "Yellow Room" is located just opposite the "Blue Room" and is a comforting room to wake up in with the warm yellow walls brighten the already light space. We have put in a very comfortable double bed and you will also find plenty of storage space here as well. The room faces the courtyard and is the quietest of all our rooms. Double Glazed windows throughout the apartment and the apartment's location on the 5th floor help to eliminate most of the usual city sounds one can expect from any busy capital.
Down the long hallway, on the opposite end of the apartment is the kitchen, fully equipped to provide you with a wonderful cooking experience if you wish or to allow you to reheat any of the lovely catered foods you could find from our local vendors. If you are an earlier riser than the rest of your group, you can enjoy your breakfast at our kitchen breakfast table - perhaps croissants bought at the boulangerie at the end of the street or some other delicious pastry. Typical French Balconies can have railings that are a tad on the short side. The apartment's terrace has been outfitted with high wood railing to let you feel at ease when you are outside.

Location & Nearby Attractions:
This is a very animated area of the city but Colisee is a relatively quiet street - you do have to keep in mind that this is a city. You have easy access to two metro lines (1 and 9) that can take you throughout the city with ease. Line 1 is great line for crossing Paris taking you to the Louvre, the Marais and the Champs Elysee.
You can use line 9 to take you towards the Eiffel Tower. The bus 80 stop is located right on Franklin Roosevelt and take connect you to Montmartre and to the Eiffel Tower and Ecole Militaire. You also have to many other bus routes (details will be provided in the apartment).
