Arrival in Avignon- Free time for visiting Avignon, one of the most well preserved walled city in France with a pleasant downtown to stroll around: to see absolutely the colossal PALACE OF POPES, the largest gothic construction in Europe and the bridge Saint Benezet, that “half crosses” the river Rhone, the other half been washed away in the 17th century. Day 2:
Avignon – Greoux-les-Bains
Leave Avignon on the east and drive along the Luberon chain – direction Apt – and stop at Gordes, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Not far away, the fields of lavender spread their carpet of colors in front of the building known as one of the jewels of Romanesque architecture: Senanque Abbey. On the way, many lavender fields and typical villages.At the end of the day, reach Greoux-les-Bains, surrounded by immense fields of lavender. Night in charming 3 Star hotel in Greoux-les-Bains

Day 3:
Discovery of Lavender landscape.
Today, choice between 2 cicuits:
1) The highlights and villages of the Lure Mountain
2) The Verdon
1) The Lure Mountain is the boundary between Provence and the Alps. Visit of a 10th century monastery overlooking the river Durance, then drive to the hilltop villages such as Simiane, capital of the lavender.
2) Drive to Riez and stroll around that craft center. Reach Moustiers Sainte Marie, this outstanding village hangs over the Sainte Croix Lake. It is famous for its faience earthenware since the 17th century. Then discover the Verdon Canyon and panoramic scenery.

Greoux-les-Bains to Orange-Avignon
Drive to Forcalquier and many historic little villages such as the fortified village of Aurel. Arrival in Orange. Orange with Roman vestiges and its remarkable arena. Night in Avignon charming 3 Star hotel
