We'll travel scenic backcountry byways of North Carolina and Virginia, then follow tthe Hudson River and coast of Lake Champlain enroute to New York/Montreal/Quebec City. Tour these French Canadian cities at your leisure.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Board the Henderson in Charlotte, NC at 8:00a.m. riding the route of Amtrak's Carolinian. View the quant countryside, historic railway stations, Wasington's monuments and Philadelphia's river lights enroute to New York City (scheduled arrival-10:09p.m.). Step out and experience the New York nightlife! Overnight hotel accommodations recommended.

Day 2: We depart New York Penn Station at 9:45a.m. traveling the route of Amtrak's Adirondack along the Hudson River and Lake Champlain to Montreal(scheduled arrival 7:30p.m.). This rail journey was rated one of the world's most scenic by National Geographic Traveler magazine. Overnight on the car in Montreal's Gare Centrale.

Day 3: Tour Montreal before boarding late afternoon for a wine and cheese sampling on the way to Quebec City. Overnight on the car, or stay in the grand Le Chateau Frontenac if you wish.
Days 4 - 5: Tour Quebec City area at your leisure. Explore Quebec City all day before boarding for an elegant dinner on our return run to Montreal.

Day 6: Sit back and enjoy the return trip on the Adirondack; it departs Montreal at 9:55a.m. and arrives in New York at 7:40p.m. Savor the nightlife of the Big Apple again.

Day 7: Lastly, we return to Charlotte on the Carolinian; departing Penn Station at 6:05a.m. and arriving in Charlotte at 8:21p.m.

The price includes all gourmet meal and beverage services while in transit. Private chef/car attendant provided. All hotel and off car meals and tours are passengers' responsibility.
