Lighthouse Reef Resort offers you seven nights , twenty meals, seventeen scheduled dives, palm-shaded and air conditioned beach front accomodations, and one great vacation on a private Caribbean island 50 miles off the coast of Belize.
There are only four true coral atolls in the entire Western Hemisphere...and three of them are in Belize: Lighthouse Reef, Glover's Reef and Turneffe. This is the best diving in Belize and maybe the best in the entire Caribbean! The waters are pristine, the walls begin at 40 feet and there are dive sites never before seen by human eyes.
Lighthouse Reef is the atoll nearest the Great Blue Hole and only at Lighthouse Reef Resort can you dive the Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye at no extra cost
All rates include Saturday transfers from BELIZE INTERNATIONAL to Lighthouse Reef Resort and back to BELIZE INTERNATIONAL the following Saturday , 7 nights accommodations, all meals, diving and all resort taxes. Please be advised that charter usually leaves Belize International to the resort between 3:30pm to 4:30pm every Saturday depending on airline arrival. Remember these are small planes travelling to the island, so baggage should not be very large - soft side recommended.
Belize diving vacation packages rate include previously mentioned services, and 6 days of diving 3 tanks per day, with the exception of Friday only 2 tanks. A total of 17 dives per week weather/conditions permitting.
All rates are per peson and in U.S dollars.
Proof of certification is required to dive.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Please be advised that charter usually leaves Belize International to the resort between 3:30pm to 4:30pm every Saturday depending on airline arrival. Remember these are small planes travelling to the island, so baggage should not be very large - soft side recommended.

Day 2:
On Sunday morning at 8:30 you'll fill out the medical forms, sign the disclaimers and present your C-Cards. Following that, we'll have a short briefing on our diving, safety and conservation practices. There will also be a short meeting on our local recompression chamber and the advantages of DAN membership.
Our first of 17 scheduled dives is at 10:00 AM Sunday. It's a typical checkout dive where we'll become familiar with you and you can grow comfortable with our dive and boat staffs. The two dives Sunday afternoon start at 2:00 and are close enough to the resort that we will probably take a break on the island between them. If weather postpones any dives, a makeup dive is attempted if safety permits.

Day 3:
All meals, diving and accommodations.
Monday morning our first trip to Long Caye starts at 9:00. Two tanks in the morning, a box lunch and another dive before returning to Lighthouse around 4:00.

Day 4:
All meals, diving and accommodations.
Two tanks starting at 9:00 Tuesday morning and a night dive is scheduled at 8:00 PM.

All meals, diving and accommodations.
On Wednesday the ulitmate dive the Great Blue Hole which takes you down at 130 feet and we continue on the atoll for two tank dives off Long Caye. You'll never forget this day.

Day 6:
All meals, diving and accommodations.
Thursday morning leaving at 9:00. Picnic at the Half Moon Caye bird sanctuary and then a single tank before returning to the resort. Don't forget your camera for great shots of the Boobies and your shoes for protection from said Boobies.
Day 7:
All meals, diving and accommodations.
Two dives on Friday at 9:00 AM finishing in time to allow you a safe flight on Saturday. All this under the watchful eyes of Divemasters.

Saturday morning 8am charter flight to Belize International Airport for connection to your departing Belize flight or Belize mainland adventures..
