This enriching experience is what travel is supposed to be, so we’ve combined the childhood memories of our Southern Thai staff with ten years of Award-winning professionalism to take you out of the hotels and into our "Local Style" Land and Sea secrets.
Our South Thailand Adventure is definitely a sea-kayaking trip - most days, you are on fresh or salt water for a typically stunning and unique paddling experience. You might paddle through a mountain; explore coastal islands with caves, Hongs and rock gardens; enjoy wildlife observations; swim in hot springs; and have a great time playing "Local" with your new Thai friends. But even more, this adventure in a fun and interesting insight into the culture and nature of South Thailand with the folks who know and live it - your staff.
We take different routes each time we are on this trip in order to avoid imitation by others. Thus, each adventure is different , depending upon your guide. That’s the charm of this trip - we have more than a dozen different locations to choose from, only six days to see a few of them, and one basic goal: To give you a "Local Boy" slice of Southern Thai lifestyle and nature.
With consideration to the Western palate, you will eat the best local food, either at camp or in selected local restaurants. Try "roti curry" or "gonnom chin" where we ate on the way to school, or ultra-fresh Thai-style seafood at an over-the-water restaurant. Even the accommodations vary - you might camp on the beach, or in a staff backyard - and spend a couple of nights in the South’s best-kept bungalow secrets.
Depending upon group size, you might travel in a 4X4 pick-up or Traditional Thai "Songtail" bus.

Day 1:
Day 1
- 09:00 Pick-up from your Phuket Hotel or Phuket Airport or pick-up from your Krabi hotel
- 11:00 Arrive at Lonely Monk Mountain temple
- 12:00 Full group transfer to Petroglyph Caves
- 12:30 Lunch at Over Water restaurant
- 13:30 Paddle mangroves, sea arches and caves, Hongs and see petroglyphs
- 15:30 Take out and transfer to waterfall cascades
- 16:30 transfer to mountain park campsite
- 17:00 Arrive mountain park campsite and make camp
- 19:00 Dinner catered by SeaCanoe

- 07:00 breakfast and break camp
- 08:30 depart campsite
- 09:00 temple visit
- 12:00 Lunch in selected restaurant
- 13:30 Fresh water cave paddle
- 16:00 Depart for beach camp
- 17:00 Arrive beach camp - make camp and sunset paddle under limestone cliffs
- 19:00 Return to beach camp.
- 20:00 Seafood dinner in over water restaurant

- 08:30 Depart on mangrove and Hong paddle
- 11:00 Take out from Hong paddle
- 11:30 Seafood lunch in over Water restaurant

- 16:30 Arrive at Bird Sanctuary and make camp
- 17:30 Sunset bird watching paddle
- 20:00 Dinner at over water restaurant

- 08:00 Breakfast at Island Camp
- 09:00 Bird watching Paddle
- 11:30 Take out at Over Water Restaurant
- 12:00 Lunch at Over Water restaurant
- 13:00 Depart for fishing village, waterfalls along the way
- 16:00 Arrive at fishing village
- 16:30 Mangrove wildlife paddle
- 18:30 return to Pier and pre-checked bungalow
- 20:00 Fishing village seafood dinner

- 08:30 Longtail transfer to rock gardens and triple-entrance Hong
- 11:30 Return to pier
- 12:00 check out of bungalows and Seafood lunch
- 13:00 Depart for cave paddle
- 15:00 Arrive at Staff family lands and make camp
- 16:00 Sunset paddle below the cave - excellent eco-systm!
- 18:00 Return to camp
- 20:00 Dinner at selected restaurant and visit the relatives

- 09:00 Paddle fresh water river in 2K cave
- 12:00 Picnic lunch downstream of cave
- 13:00 Continue downstream

- 17:00 Arrive at Hat Yai airport
- 17:30 Arrive at Hat Yai hotels

KAYAK TOUR COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Visa fees, international and domestic airfares & airport departure tax, hotel accommodations in Phuket, lunch & dinner while at the hotel, personal clothing, personal insurance, alcoholic beverages, telephone, laundry, charges for delays caused by situations beyond our control such as bad weather, natural disasters, political unrest, and accidents or emergencies.
