Some of the main historic sites within these cities that are a must-see are: Ávila’s Roman Walls surrounding the city, Salamanca’s Plaza Mayor, Segovia’s fine Roman Aqueduct and Alcazar. Your Itinerary
Day 1: Santiago De Compostela – Zamora
Pick up your car rental from Santiago's Airport or Train Station. Drive by highway leaving Galicia and entering in to Castilla Y Leon. Lunch on your own. Upon arrival to Zamora check in hotel. Afternoon visit the Cathedral & old quarter. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Zamora.
Day 2: Zamora - Salamanca – Avila
Breakfast. In the morning travel by highway to Salamanca. Morning visit to the University, Plaza Mayor & old quarter). Lunch on your own. Drive by highway to Avila. Upon arrival to check in hotel in the centre of the city. Afternoon visit to the Roman Walls, Cathedral etc. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Avila. Includes: (B);
Day 3: Avila - Segovia - El Escorial – Madrid
Breakfast. In the morning travel by highway to Segovia. Morning visit to the Roman Aqueducts, Alcazar & old quarter. Lunch on your own. After Segovia drive to El Escorial, visit the Monastery. Ending the day in the centre of Madrid. Check into hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Madrid (Note if you wish to extend your stay in Madrid inquire for extra nights & guided tours).
