This culinary tour will leave you with a clear memory as to why Spanish Olive Oil is called Liquid Gold by many chefs. The base of Mediterranean cuisine since the time of the Phoenicians, Spanish.

The base of Mediterranean cuisine since the time of the Phoenicians, Spanish Olive Oil has the widest variety of flavors: a unique offer for the culinary traveler. Spain is the first producer in the world of what is considered the healthiest fat oil in the world. Three third parties of this Spanish olive oil is produced in Andalusia.

Experience the harvesting the olives, according to both old systems (hand picked or knocking down) and new techniques (with mechanical apparatus). Discover the process to obtain this liquid gold in a visit to a gourmet olive oil producer and an olive oil museum. Participate in a tutored tasting and learn about the versatility use of Olive Oil in the kitchen: an authentic culinary art in which Andalusia outstand. You will have also the opportunity to taste new harvest oils!

Travelling along the "campiña andaluza" (Andalusian countryside) from Seville to Jaen and then to Cordova, your rural visits will include Baena, capital of an olive oil Denomination of Origin, the white mountain village of Zuhero, the Renaissance towns of Ubeda and Baeza, and the wine producing town of Montilla , where you will visit a Montilla-Moriles winery. Your city visits will include the lively atmosphere and cuisines of Seville and Cordova as well as their impressive monuments, of course.

You will experience the legacy of the different cultures and people that have inhabited this region for centuries and that have, all of them, loved this land with passion.
