Spanish Language Academy runs classes for all ages and all levels of students. We are based in the small town of Ciudad Rodrigo, which is not only beautiful, but also an ideal place for students as it is not too touristy!
We have 5 levels - from Beginner (with no knowledge of Spanish) to Advanced (for teachers, graduates, etc.)
We try to keep the size of classes quite small - usually a maximum of 10 per group, although if students come from colleges and schools and are all of a similar level, then we can allow more.
Classes run for only 3 and a half hours daily - and the "students" are then free for the rest of the day to relax, explore Spain, or take part in some of the extra-curricular activities we arrange.
Weekends are also free for individual planning.
The courses last for a minimum of one week, and there isn't really a maximum! You may enjoy Spain and study for as many weeks as you like!
There are various accommodation options - for which you may choose full or half-board.
Self-Catering appartments are also available, as well as staying with Spanish families (if you really want to make progress in Spanish).
Exclusive hotel rates are also available.
We have been providing language tuition since 1985. We specialise in close individual attention, and having a very "family" relationship in class. We are approachable, friendly and aim to cater to the each student's wishes. Our supplementary cultural and sporting activities ensure that students get the maximum out of a stay with us.
We are very good value for money. The cost of living in Spain is generally much lower than in other Western European areas, and we are lucky to be able to reflect that in the cost of our tuition and accommodation.
We don't believe in raising our prices to swindle our students, which is why you will find that we start from as little as £150 per week for half-board accommodation AND tuition - it's an offer that you can't afford to miss!
We have a very good local reputation, and a fast growing international praise page on our internet site. We are recognised locally by AFECIR (a business federation), and are supported by the Seminario de San Cajetano and Academia Bravo, with whom we work closely.

Day 1:
Arrive on Sunday. Travel from Airport to Ciudad Rodrigo, your destination. You may be collected from the airport, or you may make your own way.
Orientation and welcome.

10am - 12pm Welcome to Spanish Language Academy.
You will be assessed for your Spanish level and placed in the appropriate group. Lessons begin!
30 minute break
12:30pm - 2pm Spanish Classes
Free for remainder of day.
Activity available, for example: horse riding

Free for day. Acitivities/excursions/walking tours are often arranged for the weekend.
Excursions are diverse and always very popular, and usually take place at weekends to destinations such as: Avila, Segovia, La Alberca, Peña de Francia, Toledo Porto (Portugal), Madrid, Pamplona (San Fermines), El Escorial, Santo Domingo de Silos...and many more!

Day 7:
Not necessarily last day: your holiday may last for any number of weeks.
Free for day. Acitivities/excursions/walking tours are often arranged for the weekend.
