Your private, escorted adventure takes you through 4,000 years of mysteries and antiquities in 10 unforgettable days. You’ll visit treasures, tombs and temples throughout the length of the Nile. You travel by private car, by horse drawn calesche, camel, donkey and the famous overnight sleeper train. Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and much more with almost everything included.
Included:
· Egypt entry visa.
· Flight from Cairo to Aswan.
· All airport transfers and ground transportation by private car unless otherwise stated.
· English speaking escort throughout and private licensed guide at all sites.
· Complete sightseeing program as stated including admissions.
· 3 nights in Cairo; 1 night in Aswan; 2 nights in Luxor; 1 night on sleeper train. Double or twin bed rooms with private bath or shower, breakfast daily.
· Twin berth private cabin on the overnight train with dinner and breakfast.
· All hotel taxes, service charges, tips for sleeper train and porterage.

Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Depart the US for the overnight flight to Cairo. This day does not apply for originations outside North America.
Day 2:
Arrive Cairo. Your escort will meet you as you enter the terminal, give you your visa, assist with immigration, luggage and customs, then take you to the Novotel Airport hotel for the evening.
Day 3:
You will be awakened early for the early morning flight to Aswan. In Aswan your full day of touring will start with a Felucca tour around the islands in the Nile, including a view of the Nilometer, then visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4:
Today starts very early with the trip by private car to Luxir with stops at Edfu and Kom Ombo on the way. The afternoon will be free in Luxor. Optionally, you can visit Abu Simbel by air and drive to Luxor in the afternoon (additional $260). Overnight in Luxor.

Day 5:
A half day visit to Karnak by caleche and then the afternoon at the Luxor Museum. In the evening you will visit Luxor Temple by night.

Day 6:
Another early morning ferry across the Nile to the West Bank then a donkey ride to the Valley of the Kings. The full day tour will include the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, The Temple of Queen Haphetshut, The Ramasseum and an alabaster factory. Later you will be taken to the station to take the overnight Sleeper Train to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast on the train.

Day 7:
Arrive Cairo early morning. Start with a visit to the Egyptian Museum in the morning. In the afternoon visit the Citadel and Coptic Cairo including the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagog (admission to the Coptic Museum is not included). If you wish, your escort will drop you off at the Khan Al Khalili bazaar. Overnight Cairo.

Day 8:
The entire day will be devoted to antiquities. Memphis, Saqqara, The Pyramids and The Sphinx. You will even ride camels at the Pyramids. Overnight Cairo.

Day 9:
This is a totally free Day in Cairo for you to decide with your guide what to do. The guide and private car will be available to you all day. An optional farewell dinner and show on one of Cairo’s famous floating restaurants is available for $75 per person ($65 for 4 or more). A dayroom will be available at the hotel for freshening up in the afternoon and after the show.

Day 10:
Transfer to the airport for your early morning departure home.
