Journey north to the land of dancing light, white owls, white fox, white ptarmigan and white hares. Build an igloo and sleep in it if you wish. Perhaps ride a dog sled across the Pacific Ocean to Fort Prince of Wales.

On the Arctic tundra, daily field trips will acquaint you with polar regions, Inuit culture, and the phenomena of aurora borealis. Tundra vans will provide a trip into a winter realm. Sightings and tracks of Arctic fox, red fox, and snowshoe hares will delight photographers and naturalists alike. After a day in the field, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner, evening classes and aurora viewing. With the winter landscapes and long twilight hours (weather permitting) the great northern lights will provide unprecedented photographic opportunities. This trip is designed to investigate the phenomena of the aurora borealis and the ecology of remote regions of the Canadian Arctic. Join us on this northern adventure!
