Amnye Machen Mountain, lies at the far end of middle branch of Mt. Kunlun, is located in the southeast of Qinghai. It is about 28km long and 10km wide. Main peak is Machen Gangri, which is 6,282 meters above sea level. Scenery there is charming and attractive. It is regarded as a holy mountain, around which thousands of pilgrims trekking and worshiping the Peak. It stands at the place where the yellow River comes from. The melted snow of the mountain is the origin of the Yellow River, the great mother river of China. In the process of organizing trekking tours over years, we have accumulated rich experiences and trained capable tour guides for logistics supply. We will trek across this mystic land to witness rural Tibetan life.

Day 4: Drive 160 km. to Kokonor Lake via Kumbum. Accommodation at Shin Etsu Villa. Included: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Drive 360 km. to Xiatawu, Camping in the wilds. Included: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6 – Day 14: Trekking around Mt.Amnye Machen. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain scene without climbing to the peak. Camping in the wild. Included: (B), (L), (D).
Day 15: Drive 470 km. back to Xining. Accommodation at Qinghai Hotel. Included: (B), (L), (D).
