Today, you'll drive north along the west shores of Lake Como directly to Menaggio where you'll play the local golf course, one of the oldest in Italy, built by the English aristocracy at the beginning of the 20th century. Menaggio is considered one of the most important and certainly the most charming village in the central lake area.
Once there, take the occasion to go and visit Bellagio, just on the other side of the lake (use the ferry), or Villa Carlotta, famous for its azaleas, and some very rare species introduced here, for this garden. Bellagio across the Lake, is situated at the top of the headland that divides the lake in two (the west branch toward Como and the east branch toward Lecco). Bellagio is well worth the visit. The Roman, Pliny the Younger had a villa here, and this was followed the seond half of the nineteenth century by hotels, and vacation homes/villas of the rich and famous.
At 5 pm drive to the local hotel school for your third cooking lesson.
(B) (D)
Day 5:
Thursday
Fourth round of golf

Grappa tasting - enjoy!
Today it is the turn of La Pinetina Golf Club, a course cut in the forest. In fact, Pinetina means small forest. Founded in 1971, La Pinetina Golf club covers 158 acres of Tradate-Appiano Gentile parkland in wonderfully unspoiled countryside. This is a top level championship European course that is the home of prestige tournements.
At 5 pm drive to the local hotel school for your fourth cooking lesson.
The end of the dinner you will be delighted by a tasting of different grappas.

Friday

Today, it is the turn of a historic Italian golf course: the Villa d'Este, seat of the Italian Open for 12 times, located at only 6 miles from the town. The Villa D'Este Golf Club is 1200 feet above sea level, so play here is always very pleasant, even in August. The course winds its way between chestnut groves, birch and pine woods. It is considered one of themost varied and difficult of the European "par 69" courses.
At 5 pm drive to the local hotel school for your fifth and final cooking lesson.
A third wine tasting will accompany the dinner.
