We’re headed to beautiful southern California with the stars of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series as they make their annual trek to the California Speedway. How can you describe this 2 mile D-shaped race track except it’s big, it’s flat and it’s fast Ask the drivers and they’ll tell you they love this track because it has a wide racing groove and they can reach speeds of 200 mph on the straighaways, which always make for exciting racing. Each season this Penske built track grows into one the premier auto racing venues in the country. Come and see why California is a great place to watch a race and experience the thrills of NASCAR. Your package will include great race tickets, 2 nights accommodations at the Embassy Suites Hotel and a mid-size car rental for your entire stay.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Once you arrive in California we'll kick off the weekend Friday, April 30th, with both Busch Series and Nextel Cup Qualifying. This will be just a taste of the excitement on tap for the weekend.
Day 2:
Today we head to the track for Nextel Cup practice, the Winston West Pontiac Wide Track Grand Prix 200, and the CaliforniaSpeedway.com 300 Busch Series race where we'll see them racin' hard.
Day 3:
Today the weekend will culminate with the running of the Auto Club 500 Nextel Cup race. The racing will be fantastic. Enjoy the excitement!
