Windigo-Severn-Fawn Rivers - 25 Days to Hudson Bay (Fly-out) - Paddle in one of the most remote areas of Canada. Starting at Windigo Lake we have 800 kms (500 miles) to go. The river is small at the start but there is a long way to go.
We stop at the native community of Muskrat Dam Reserve, where the Windigo River meets the Severn River. We stay on the Severn till we get to the next native community of Big Trout Lake. From here we travel the pristine Fawn River back to the Severn River. We finish at the Hudson Bay coast in the Cree community of Fort Severn. Here we spend some time in the community and explore the tree line along the coast of Hudson Bay. Finally, we fly back to Pickle Lake to finish the trip.
