This tour has an emphasis on maket shopping and you will get to know the food shops and food markets of Firenze, not just how to to cook many fine Florentine dishes. For no more than 5 lucky guests who will spend a week living and shopping and cooking and eating in Florence!
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at the apartment after 4.30 pm, time to settle in and then Welcome Aperitivo followed by dinner, tonight everything is prepared for you, you just sit back and enjoy! (D)
Day 2: Early morning to Sant Ambrogio Food Market, followed at 10.30 am by our first cooking class, making both lunch and supper. Free to visit Florence's art treausures or to go shopping once we have tidied up after lunch. You can come back for supper, or not, as you prefer. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 3: Shopping in the food shops of the centre of Florence, then cooking class as before. If you like we can tour other food and household goods late afternoon, maybe stopping for an ice cream at one of the best artisan ice cream shops tucked away in little streets. Supper served at 8 pm, if you choose to eat in. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 4: Today we hit San Lorenzo market for our shopping needs. Lots of tasting opportunites, then to our third cooking class, as on Day 2, with optional supper as before. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 5: Back to shopping in the centre today, to allow a slightly later start to our day. In the late afternoon, if you like, we can visit a specialist Wine Enoteca, to get to know some (more!) of Tuscany's finer wines. Supper available for those who want it, at 8 pm. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 6: San Lorenzo market again, as this is where you may well want to but some souvenir food items to take home. Cooking class 5 making just lunch - as this is our last night, tonight we dine out together! (B) / (L)
Day 7: Time to fill out the feedback forms, take final photos and say goodbye. Departure by 10.00 am. (B)
