On this class we make risottos in different styles and use rice in soups and for vegetable fillings. We also make the Antipasti, the main courses, vegetable dishes and desserts of course, but the emphasis is on learning about Italian rice dishes and perfecting your risotto making technique so that you will soon be making risotto like an Italian!
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival after 2.30 pm, to give you time to settle in and look around the grounds before we start our first cooking class at 4 pm, making tonight's dinner. (D)
Day 2: Two cooking classes today, making both lunch and dinner. We'll take breaks and have an Aperitivo when preparations are almost complete. There is an afternoon break between cooking classes - time for you to take a walk in the green hills, read a book or even have a nap. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 3: A free morning when you might want to visit Lucca. We have a Tuscan feast planned for our last dinner, and we start cooking for that at 3 p.m. We may well invite some Tuscan guests to join us in our Farewell Dinner! (B) / (D)
Day 4: Time to fill out the feedback forms, take final photos and say goodbye. Departure by 9.30 am. (B)
