Spend a week in a Tuscan country setting learning about the differences between the cusines of North, Central and Southern Italy.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: You arrive between 4 and 7pm, in time for a Welcome Aperitivo at 7.30 , followed by the Welcome Dinner that has been prepared for you. As we get to know each other over dinner, Carmelita will start to tell you about the main differences between the cuisines of the 20 Italian regions. (D)
Day 2: First cooking class at 10 am, making both lunch and dinner. Carmelita will ask you about your preferences when you book this tour. She will then take these into account when deciding which regions to focus on when she draws up the menus. for the week. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 3: Early morning we set off in your cars to visit a brilliant local artisan cheesemaker. Light lunch out and in the afternoon we have our second cooking class at 4 pm, making tonight's dinner. (B) / (D)
Day 4: You have today free for exploring the region. Carmelita will prepare a light supper for those who request it before setting off. (B) / (D)
Day 5: Two classes today! At 10 am, we will make 3 or 4 pastas which we will sample in small portions for lunch, along with salads, local cheese and fresh fruit. Afternoon walk or siesta break, then at 4 pm we meet again to cook another fabulous Italian dinner. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 6: A free morning so you can sleep in on at least one day of your cooking vacation! We meet at 3.30 pm to cook our Farewell Feast of many courses. Lunch is available for those who want it. (B) / (L) / (D)
Day 7: Time to fill out the feedback forms, take final photos and say goodbye. Departure by 9.30 am, please. (B)
