DAY 1
Departure from the USA.
DAY 2
PARIS
Welcome to Paris! See the city unfold before you as you drive to your hotel. Your Voyageur tour director will conduct an orientation to the city, complete with Metro instructions. Optional Eiffel Tower dinner this evening.
DAY 3
PARIS
An expert guide shows you the Latin Quarter, the 6,000-ton Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and much more. An inside visit to the Louvre concludes the tour. Enjoy floodlit views of Paris on your included Bateau-Mouche ride followed by an Illumination Drive.
DAY 4
PARIS
A full-day excursion today starts with a visit to Chartres Cathedral. Continue on to the Loire Valley, with inside visits to the châteaux of Amboise and Chenonceau and a picture stop at Chambord. Dinner on the way back to Paris this evening.
DAY 5
PARIS, BORDEAUX, BIARRITZ
This morning, board the high-speed TGV, to Bordeaux. Board a motorcoach and continue on to the resort town of Biarritz, with time to explore the seafront and promenade before dinner.
DAY 6
BIARRITZ, LOURDES, CARCASSONNE
This morning enjoy free time in medieval Biarritz before heading east along the French side of the Pyrenees to Carcassonne. Stop at the famous pilgrimage destination of Lourdes en route. Dinner and overnight in Carcassonne.
DAY 7
CARCASSONNE, NICE
Free morning to visit ancient Roman ruins in Carcassonne. Walk across the drawbridge into La Cité — the oldest part of the city. This afternoon, continue on to Nice with a stop in Aix-en-Provence. Dinner and overnight in Nice.
DAY 8
NICE
The festive city of Nice comes alive this morning with a walking tour. See the Old City, Promenade des Anglais, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral, and more. The afternoon is free to relax on the beach or climb the steps to the Château for outstanding views.
DAY 9
NICE
Morning excursion to Grasse, home of the Fragonard, Galimard, and Mollinard perfume factories. Continue on to the medieval hilltop town of Mougins, and the independent principality of Monaco. Return to Nice with free time to shop or head to the beach.
DAY 10
Return flight to the USA.
