Arrival to Sevilla Airport. Pick up your car rental upon arrival. Drive to Sevilla. Check into your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Sevilla.
Day 2: Sevilla
Breakfast. Monumental Sevilla Tour: In the morning your Private Guide will meet you in the lobby and take you on a half-day guided visit of Sevilla, at one time Spain's largest city, the gateway through which the riches of the New World poured. It could be, that Sevilla learned to enjoy the finer things in life in the days of the Moors, when it was the capital of King Al-Mutamid, knows for his love of poetry and music. The Moors left behind marvelous examples of their architecture, such as the Giralda, at one time the minaret and today part of Sevilla's cathedral. Visit Sevilla's Cathedral with La Giralda Tower. See the Real Alcazar, a Moorish palace and royal residence, and El Barrio De Santa Cruz, once the thriving Jewish quarter, preserved with great care. Rest of the day free to explore the city on your own. Lunch on your own. Dinner on your own, try one of the many restaurants located in the Santa Cruz. Day 3: Sevilla - Jerez De La Frontera - Sevilla
Breakfast. Jerez De La Frontera Tour: Your Private Guide will meet you in the lobby this morning. Seeing that your guide is from Sevilla he will accompany in your car and explain the sites you pass making your way to Jerez de la Frontera. Upon arrival to Jerez de la Frontera visit the Royal Andalusian School Of Equestrian Art. Enjoy the show "Those Amazing Dancing Andalucian Horses". Walk through the centre of Jerez passing by historic buildings like: Alcazar, House of the Cabildo, Market square. Lunch inside a traditional restaurant offering local cuisine & wines. Day 5: Sevilla - Moron De La Frontera - Ronda - Puerto Banus-Marbella
Breakfast. Drive to Ronda. Ronda tour: Upon arrival meet your Private Guide. Morning visit to the Plaza de Toros, Collegial Church of Santa Marěa la Mayor, Arab Baths & the citadel. Day 8: Puerto Banus-Marbella - Nerja - Frigiliana – Granada
Breakfast. Drive to Nerja, visit inside the Caves of Nerja with stalagmite formations. Panoramic view of the village of Nerja and the coast from the Balcon de Europa. Lunch on your own.
After lunch, visit on your own the village of Frigiliana, which dates back to Roman times but owes its urban design to the Moslem occupation. It is Perched like a balcony on the slopes of the Sierra Almijara, it offers one of the prettiest and most spectacular views of the Costa del Sol. Apart from its beauty, the village boasts places of great interest, such as Las Hoces del Higueron, and buildings such as the sugar mill, formerly the Count of Frigiliana's Palace, where the famous sugar cane honey is made. Day 9: Granada
Breakfast. Granada tour: In the morning a private guide will meet you in the lobby and take you on a tour of Granada, once "Granada of the Jews", site of Samuel La Nagid's Talmudic Academy. Visit the palace of Alhambra, with view from the Alcazaba, also visit Generalife Gardens. It was here in 1492 that the decree expelling the Jew from Spain was signed. Lunch on your own. Day 11: Granada - Alcaudete - Baena – Cordoba
Breakfast. In the morning drive to Alcaudete, visit on your own this beautiful village situated to the southwest of the province, on the border with Cordoba, at the foot of the Sierra de Ahillos. Its landscape is made up of vast olive groves. The town centre, which is situated on a mountain top, crowned by an Arab castle, shows remains of its ancient history in the form of monuments such as the Castle of Albendin, the Church of Santa Maria, Church of San Pedro, Church of Santa Clara, the Town Hall, the House of Almirantazgo, The House of los Leones and the House of the Condes de Alcaudete. Continue on to Baena, this village is in the heart of Olive Oil country. Lunch on your own. Drive to Cordoba in the late afternoon or whenever you desire. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Cordoba. Day 12: Cordoba
Breakfast. Cordoba tour: In the morning meet your Private Guide in the lobby, to take you on a tour of Cordoba, birthplace of Mases Malmonides. Visit the gorgeous 8th-Century Mosque, now the Cathedral of Cordoba and La Juderia (Jewish quarter) see the Statue of Maimonides and walk the Calle de los Judios to the ancient synagogue.
