Your Itinerary
Day 1: Hawkes Bay
Our guide meets you at Napier Airport in the centre of this major wine and food region. Heritage winery, Mission Estate awaits. Lunch among the vines and visit Te Awanga’s coastal vineyards. Tonight we enter the food lovers’ realm at Sileni Estates for a celebratory wine & food matched dinner. Included: (D).
Day 2: Hawkes Bay
Try the winemaker’s craft at Te Awa Farm winery learning how wines are blended before lunching at Te Awa’s restaurant. Sample at notable vineyards in the renowned Gimblett Gravels region this afternoon and walk Napier’s Art Deco trail. Included: (B), (L).
Day 3: Hawkes Bay - Martinborough
We drive through Hawkes Bay’s orchards and gardens to the Wairarapa. Taste the wines of outstanding vineyards, such as Palliser and Martinborough Vineyards, in this fine pinot noir region. Day 4: Martinborough - Marlborough
Traveling on to Wellington, we visit Te Papa, the national museum and later cruise the Cook Strait to Picton. Welcome to Blenheim, heart of the sauvignon blanc estates that put Marlborough on the map. Day 5: Marlborough
We breakfast with method traditionally wines at Cellier Le Brun. Savour intense herbaceous flavours at Hunter’s, Cloudy Bay and St Clair vineyards and visit other outstanding vineyards including Seresin Estate and Villa Maria. Tonight your special dinner showcases memorable local cuisine. Included: (B), (D).
Day 6: Marlborough
Your odyssey concludes this morning with final tastings at the vineyards before we transfer you to the airport. We can arrange additional touring by chauffeured sedan or self-drive to the wine regions of Nelson, Canterbury and Central Otago. Included: (B)
