Day 1: Christchurch - known in New Zealand as the garden city, Christchurch is the gateway to the South Island and a fitting place to start your adventure. From peaceful parks and walks to bustling markets and colourful nightlife, Christchurch has something for everyone. (D)
Day 2: Methven - nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps, Methven is just a stone's throw from Mt Hutt and the Canterbury ski fields. This sleepy little town, surrounded by picture postcard landscapes, is transformed during winter months into a vibrant ski town with cafes, bars and a laidback Kiwi atmosphere. (B) / (D)

Day 4: Tekapo - the settlement of Tekapo gets its name from the most crystal clear, tranquil lake in the South Island. You will not want to miss the beautifully contrasting views encompassing the snowcapped mountains which home the Mt Dobson and Round Hill ski areas. (B) / (D)
Day 5: Ohau - we take you off the beaten track to Lake Ohau and its unique,rustic lodge set alongside its shores. A soak in the hot tub after your days skiing at the Ohau ski area will relax your aching muscles. The lodge faces due east, giving the early riser a spectacular sunrise to start the day. (B) / (D)
Day 6: Wanaka - set beside picturesque Lake Wanaka the small township of Wanaka is home to three of the country's best ski fields - Treble Cone, Cardrona and The Snow Farm. During the winter skiers and boarders converge on the town for a four month party which peaks in August with the Wanaka Winter Festival. (B) / (D)
Day 7: Wanaka - second day at this location. (B) / (D)
Day 8: Queenstown - famous for its gondola rides and cruises of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown has an international reputation for being New Zealand's ultimate tourist mecca. Whether bungy jumping at Skipper's Canyon or skiing at the famous Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski fields, Queenstown is an adrenalin junkie's paradise. (B)

Day 11: West Coast glaciers - on the West Coast of the South Island, you will have the chance to experience the splendour of the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Take a walk on them or simply marvel, the choice is yours. (B) / (D)
Day 12: Mitchells - spend a night in secluded luxury at Lake Brunner Lodge - nestled amongst lush native rain forest beside Lake Brunner, the lodge is near the small West Coast town of Mitchells. Kick back and relax before boarding the alpine train back to Christchurch. (B) / (D)
Day 13: Christchurch - a ride through the spectacular Southern Alps completes the round trip and brings the tours back to Christchurch. (B) / (D)
