Day Trip to Discover the Wines of Catalonia
Start with a short drive from Barcelona to El Penedes wine region. We arrive to the Penedes wine country where we are joined by a resident wine maker for a private tour of his fields and facilities, and most importantly a generous and varied cava and wine tasting in his wine cellar. In the wine cellar among the oak barrels and aging bottles of product, you’ll enjoy a generous tasting of wines and reserve cavas, accompanied by a wonderful catered lunch or dinner of Catalan cuisine. Prior to returning to Barcelona, guests will have the opportunity to personally make a bottle of cava in the old artisan fashion to take home with them. After return to Barcelona.
