Alaska's Gustavus Marine Charters offers custom multi-day fishing & wildlife sightseeing trips in Glacier Bay National Park and the northern panhandle of southeast Alaska. Small group custom tours include glacier viewing, King salmon & halibut fishing, hiking, kayaking, and whale watching. Our comfortable forty-two foot Californian yacht sleeps four to six people for trips of 3 days or more. Gourmet meals utilize local fresh seafood including salmon, halibut & Dungeness crab.
Another tour option includes day fishing for salmon and halibut and sightseeing & whalewatching with our C-Dory Pro-Angler 26. All inclusive packages are available with select lodges in the area that provide excellent meals and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Tour price is per person per day based on a group of four people. Day fishing packages range between $320-$345/person/day depending on selected accomodations.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Depart dock at 8:00am for whale watching that morning. Proceed up the lower part of Glacier Bay later that morning, viewing bird colonies and wildlife along the way. Anchor in a pristine cove that evening. Evening options include kayaking or beach walk.

Day 2:
Proceed up to upper Glacier Bay for glacier viewing, either Tarr Inlet or Johns Hopkins Inlet, depending on ice conditions. Kayaking during the day or day hike. Anchor out that night either in a secluded cove or near a glacier, depending on conditions.

Day 3:
Proceed down bay, viewing more wildlife and marine mammals. Arrive back to dock by 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in time for Alaska Airlines or small plane departure back to Juneau.
