Get up a hill on foot, by jeep or on horseback, attach yourself to the wing, run into the wind and be carried off in the Mongolian blue sky. Gliding through the air accompanied by eagles, drift slowly over the green pine forests, over the fertile grasslands or along the huge sand dunes of the Gobi Desert. Enjoy the magnificent scenes before landing in the fence-free surrounding.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Upon arrival at the airport we will be welcomed by our guide. He will bring us to our comfortable, centrally located hotel. For those who don't want to miss any flying opportunity, there will be some small flights organised around Ulaanbaatar. In the evening will have a dinner at a local restaurant. (Hotel, L, D)

Day 2: After breakfast at our hotel's restaurant we will drive 40 km eastwards. We will reach Bayanzurkh Mountain from where we will fly. Non-flyers will hike in the surrounding area. End of the afternoon we will drive to Terelj (40 km) where we will spend the night in a ger camp. Terelj is part of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. With its granite rocks, pine trees and river it is a picturesque area that is perfect for relaxing. There are good possibilities for hiking, climbing, horseback riding or, for those who are not afraid of the cold, swimming. Non-flyers will enjoy this place. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 3: Today we will ride up the mountain by horse and fly from the Terelj Mountain. Non-flyers will visit a family or do one of the activities described here above. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 4: After breakfast we will drive 200 km westwards to reach Khustai Nuruu National Park beginning of the afternoon. In the afternoon we will fly from the Khustai Mountain range. Non-flyers will discover the park and see the wild horses. The park was established in 1993 and protects today the Takhi, the Mongolian's wild horses, also known as the Przewalski horses. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 5: Today we will drive 300 km westwards to Kharkhorin (also called Karakorum), site of the 13th century capital of the Mongolian Empire created by Chinggis Khaan. Very little is left from this legendary city. In the 16th century, Mongolia's biggest Monastery was build from the ruins of Kharkhorin. Now Erdene Zuu Monastery are the remains of what once was a huge monastery of 100 temples and about 1.000 lamas residencing there. We will fly from Salkhit Mountain. Non-flyers will explore the grounds of Erdene Zuu Monastery and be guided around the 3 remaining temples: Dalai Lama, Zuu of Buddha and Lavrin Temple. They will also see the Turtle Rock and the Phallic Rock. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 6: In the morning we will have some more flying in the region. After lunch we will set off for the Orkhon Water Falls. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 7: Today we will spend a whole day flying in the region. In this green, with forest covered mountainous area non-flyers will enjoy a great and active day. They will have the large choice of activities. Some will hike in the tectonic originated gorges, some will fish, swim, and others will go for a ride on a horse. We will have many chances to meet nomad families. We will visit them and experience their warm hospitality. Those who want will have the opportunity to try the "airag" or fermented horse milk. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 8: After breakfast we will drive 120km northward to Tuvshruulekh village. We will fly from Del Mountain. Non-flyers will visit that little rural village. In the evening we will drive to Tsenkher hot spring resort. Managed by Japanese this resort has a large open-air pool at its customer's disposal. The hot water of the pool flows continuously in from the hot water spring. At the spring, the temperature of the water is over 80 ° C. A complex pipelines system regulates the water temperature. Some will spend hours sitting in the pool talking to their friends while staring at the stars or scanning the nightly nature around them. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 9: Today we will fly from the mountains surrounding Tsetserleg (60 km driving). Tsetserleg, capital city of Arkhangai province is a lovely little town surrounded by forested hills. Non-flyers we will visit the Buyandelgeruulekh Monastery, the town main functioning monastery and the nice little Museum of Arkhangai located in Zayaiin Gegeenii Monastery. From the museum they will walk hill upward to a small abandoned monastery and enjoy the beautiful view over Tsetserleg and the surrounding hills. If time allows, non flyers will also visit the local market. We will spend the night in a hotel or in a ger camp not far from Tsetserleg. (Hotel or ger camp, B, L, D)

Day 10: After breakfast we will drive 120 km to reach Ogiin Lake. We will fly from surrounding mountains. No-flyers will do birdwatching, fishing or horseback riding. We will spend the night in a Ger Camp located on the shores of the lake. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)

Day 11: Today we will head for Zaamar Mountain (200 km northeastwards). End of the afternoon we will have a flight. Non-flyers will stay in a nomad family and experience the nomadic lifestyle. For the night we will share the gers of the family. (Nomad Family, B, L, D)

Day 12: Today we will have more flights in the area. Non-flyers will visit a gold mine, swim or hike. (Tented Camp, B, L, D)

Day 13: After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. (Hotel, B, L, D)

Day 14: After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. (Hotel, B, L, D)

Day 15: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure.
