Hidden gardens, beautifully restored antebellum homes, and quaint churches are just a part of the charm of Charleston. The other part of its charm is the slow pace of life, the southern accent, and the brick-paved streets. March is one of the most popular times of the year to visit Charleston. The weather is very comfortable and the azaleas are in bloom! Come take a step back in time as we visit the charm of a bygone era and peek into lovely homes and secluded gardens, while visiting one of the loveliest cities in the South.
As part of this Charleston Tour you can choose to go to Savannah for one day, or to the fabulous Brookgreen Gardens. Brookgreen Gardens has the largest outdoor collection of statuary in the world and is well worth seeing.

Day 1:
Saturday, April 2: Arrive in Charleston and enjoy a city tour.
After arriving and meeting the rest of the group, you will experience the charm of Charleston with a horse drawn carriage ride. It’s a lovely way to see the city and get a “lay of the land.” Our guide will take us around the historic district to acquaint us with the beauty and history of Charleston. After the carriage ride it's off to dinner at Sticky Fingers where you'll have a chance to sample some of the best "Carolina Barbeque" you've ever tasted.
Our hotel for the trip is the Kings Courtyard Hotel - a AAA four diamond property and a historic inn. This beautifully restored inn once catered to wealthy merchants and plantation owners.
