Romantic Honeymoon is a Luxuroius Cave. Cappadocia is known with its unique "lunar landscape". Underground cities bring you to the center of earth and a balloon ride over the sky.

If you want to spoil yourself for your most happy days, stay in our sellected hotel. You will have a most memorable time in the caves of Cappadocia. Gamirasu Cave Hotel is in Ayvali village. The stream going by the valley in front of hotels is the guaridan of the silence away from traffic. Fire place, Jacuzzi and Cappadocia wine add to the romantic athmosphere. Shampaign and flowers and surprise are from the house.

Your Itinerary

Day 1: Kayseri airport. Arrival at Kayseri airport, meeting with your guide and driver and transfer to your hotel. Welcome greetings and leisure afternoon.

Day 2: Hot air balooning. Cappadocia has a magical unique landscape. If you wish to do a balloon ride one time in your life save it for Cappadocia, you will have an unforgettable experience. Pick you up from the hotel early in the morning, fly over valleys of Cappadocia full of rock formations, fairy chimneys and natural beauty. Actual flight starts before sunrise and effective flight in the air is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, sometimes a little longer.

Example: You wake up at 6:00am and are back at the hotel around 9:30am. They have a Champaign celebration at the end of the flight.

Day 3: Red Valley Walk. Walking for about 5 km in one of the most attractive valleys of Cappadocia: Red Valley, with its fabulous volcanic rock formations, is in the heart of Cappadocia but away from the tourist crowd. Rock-Cut hermit churches with frescoes and paintings fit with the Valley's meditative atmosphere, remained intact since the beginning. (B)

Day 4: In the morning, first meeting with the lunar landscape of Cappadocia: rock formations beyond belief in Devrent valley; walking in Zelve Open Air Museum: a journey in the past with its troglodyte houses; visit to Pasabag "fairy chimneys" where the voice of wind mixes with the "songs of fairies". Lunch in Avanos, centre of terra cotta work of art since 3000 BC. and a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop. Afternoon, visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum and see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings (10th to 13th century). Climb on top of the Uchisar Rock-Castle to have a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. (B)

Day 5: In the morning, visit to Kaymakl1 Underground City, one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. Soanl Valley, a pen Air Museum in a wild natural setting near a typical Cappadocian village with its different style Rock-Cut churches and frescoes. Villages in the valleys, surrounded by the "table top" mountains, are spectacular. Lunch and Visit to Sahinefendi newly discovered (01 May 2002) mosaic houses & Archaeological excavation site. Continue with Keslik Monastery near Cemil, that hides its frescoes behind a very thin smoke layer which we can only see by torch light. The Medrese (Theological School) from Seljuk Turks in Ta_k1npa_a is the witness of an early and rich Turkish settlement in the town. Our tour finishes with a visit to Mustafapa_a (Sinasos), an old Greek town with its spectacular old Greek houses; very fine examples of late Greek settlements and architecture. (B)

Day 6: Leisure day, Overnight Gamirasu cave hotel Cappadocia.
