The tour includes stops at Lugo - the capital of the roman Galicia. Walking tour of the old area visiting both its 12th.-century cathedral and 4th.-century roman walls which were declared World Heritage monument by UNESCO in the year 2000. Portomarin - a historical town rescued, stone by stone, from its original site. Nowadays the waters of the Miño River close over it giving rise to an important dam. Lining the Miño River you will see the vineyards whose graps are used for producing the famous local rum “aguardiente".
