The legendary and primitive Middle Fork of the Salmon cascades through 105 miles of the most inaccessible and awesome country in the world. It is rugged, wild, and relatively untouched. You'll experience over 80 major rapids with the only route to the canyons of the Middle Fork, in some cases, being the river itself. There are few trails to the ancient Indian campsites, hot springs and homesteads. The lower 30 miles, known as the "Impassable Canyon", is so remote that there is not even a trail.
Middle Fork trips range from 3 to 6 days in length. Depending on water conditions, the trip will launch at Boundary Creek or the Indian Creek airstrip. Both near the headwaters of the Middle Fork. Guests will explore the entire length of the Middle Fork (approximately 105 miles). The trip ends the afternoon of the 6th day.

6 Day 5 Night Middle Fork Expedition
Launch Dates: June 21, 30, July 8, 16, 24, August 1, 9, 17, 25 and September 2.
Day 1: Board either an oar boat, paddle boat, inflatable kayak or custom designed fishing boat and begin your journey down Middle Fork of the Salmon or Main Salmon River. Includes: (L), (D);
Day 2: As you raft along these two jewels of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, stop off for a soothing soak in a natural hot springs. Includes: (B), (L), (D);
Day 3: After a day of landing dozens of Westslope Cutthroat Trout, relax while the guides prepare a gourmet meal river side, including fine wines. Includes: (B), (L), (D);
Day 4: As you progress down river, stop and take a hike to an ancient Sheepeater Indian camp and look over the pictographs. Includes: (B), (L), (D);
Day 5: The Mackay Kid Wrangler has the children participating in organized games and activities, while mom and dad sit back and enjoy a game of horseshoes on the white sand beaches of the Main salmon. Includes: (B), (L), (D);

5 Day 4 Night Middle Fork Expedition
Early season high water trips launch at Boundary Creek or the Indian Creek airstrip. Both near the headwaters of the Middle Fork. Guests will explore the entire length of the Middle Fork (approximately 105 miles). The trip ends the afternoon of the 5th day. Launch Dates: June 3 and 12. Price: $1,495.00 per person.
4 Day 3 Night Middle Fork Expedition (Upper River)
Again, depending on water conditions, the trip will launch at Boundary Creek or the Indian Creek airstrip. On the morning of the 4th day, guests arrive at an airstrip on the river where they will board a back country airplane for a scenic flight home. The guests will have floated the top 60 miles (approximately) of the Middle Fork. Launch Dates: June 21, 30, July 8, 16, 24, August 1, 9, 17, 25 and September 2. Price: $1245.00 per person.
3 Day 2 Night Middle Fork Expedition
Your trip begins with a scenic flight to an airstrip on the river. Guests explore the "Impassable Canyon" of the Middle Fork. The trip ends the afternoon of the 3rd day. Launch Dates: June 24, July 3, 11, 19, 27, August 4, 12, 20, 28 and September 5. Price: $1045.00 per person.
