The Vale of the White Horse is a timeless place – a gently undulating plain nestling between the Marlborough Downs and the Cotswolds. This is an ideal opportunity to blow the winter cobwebs away and exercise your cycling legs for the spring, on a short weekend in south Oxfordshire within easy reach of London and the Midlands.
We stay at Charney Manor, a beautiful house dating from the 13th century – one of the oldest inhabited houses in Britain. Accommodation is in twin and single bedrooms, either in the manor house itself or in the annex with its en-suite facilities.
