We'll spend our days kayaking up one of the arms of Glacier Bay watching for dall porpoises, whales, seals and the eagles soaring above us. We'll camp every night at a different spot discovering the hidden wonders of Glacier Bay watching the sun set over some of the biggest mountains in North America. The cost includes kayak rentals, all meals, and the services of a guide. To start the trip you must fly to Gustavus (from Seattle or Juneau) and from there you will begin the trip to the put-in.
You can use singles or double kayaks, all beginners will be in doubles. While on the trip, you can try a single. You need to bring your camping gear and will also be required to wear the appropriate clothing for kayaking in Alaska - fleece or other synthetic gear. No kayaking experience is necessary though you will be required to take a 4 hour kayaking class beforehand with us or another outfitter.
