Locally nicknamed the ‘Riviera’, the Natal coastline offers beautiful wide beaches and warm sunny days. Soak up the sunshine while snorkeling, canoeing or swimming before spending the evening viewing Green Turtles lay their eggs.

Heading to the heart of Zululand, Isandlwana, learn about the great colonial battles that were fought in the area. After stretching your legs in the dramatic Drakensberg Mountains, sit back and enjoy the highlight of your tour, game viewing in the mighty Kruger National Park.

The tour includes such destinations as Durban, fantastic shores of the Natal coastline with canoeing, boat cruises, snorkeling and the wildlife. We'll go turtle tracking. Giant turtles return to the beach where they were born to lay their eggs, having swum the length of the continent.

Then we'll take a boat trip on the fresh water lakes where we'll enjoy a picnic lunch and a swim in the sea. With and early start we head to Isandlwana, where the greatest defeat in British colonial history took place. Our resident historian, Prince Sibusiso describes the dramatic events of the day. Lunch at Rorke’s Drift, the scene of our second day and continuation of the battlefield tour.

As well we'll have the possibility to explore Zulu culture at the Zulu Cultural Center and at a nearby game farm, then drive to Drakensberg in the mountains, take a walk in our surroundings and enjoy great food in the area. We'll experience the wildlife of Africa by foot and by vehicle at a private Game Reserve.

Notes:
Airfare is not included in the tour price.
