The Scott River, with Class V rapids that have names like White House, Tompkins Creek, Schuler Gulch and Canyon Creek, offers nearly continuous class IV and V rapids that are often a bit trickier than it's big sister, the Cal-Salmon. Be prepared for cross river quick moves in front of steep drops, catapulting you into river-wide reversals.
The scenery - when you can tear your eyes away from the rapids - is pristine and magnificent! Rugged, carved granite, lush vegetation, the deep woods of the Klamath National Forest and breathtaking waterfalls combined with the Class IV and Class V rapids create an unforgettable river adventure.
A Cal-Salmon/Scott combo trip (2 day camping) will make an unbeatable whitewater weekend, as long as you are fit for this type of rafting. These rivers are recommended for experienced clients who are in good physical condition, and capable swimmers.
