Your Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival into Arusha, overnight at Sinca Court Hotel.

Day 2:
Drive to Machame village, the climb begins at the end of the tarmac road. Walk through shambas then forests to the Machame Hut, (3000m,6hours).

Day 3:
Shira Hut.
Continue along the steep ridge going on to rock ridges and through heather. The route turns west into a river gorge, reaching Shira Hut (3800m,5hours).

Day 4:
Baranco Hut.
Continue east towards the Lava tower. Shortly after this, you descend to Baranco Hut,(3940m,4hours).

Day 5:
Barafu Hut.
A short scramble to the top of the great Baranco and then a traverse overscree and a ridge to the Karanga valley 4000m,3hours,Beneath the icefalls of the Heim, Kersten and Decken Glaciers, After climbing out of the Karanga valley the trail ascends a ridge to the Barafu Hut. A Bleak location with little vegetation at 4600m, 3hours walking.

Day 6:
Barafu Hut.
An early start for the ascend to the rim of the Kibo Crater between the Rebmann and Ratzel Glaciers-4hours, the last section before the rim can sometimes be snow-covered and an Ice-axe or Ski-stick is useful for balance. From here a further hour leads you to Uhuru Peak , from where there are often fine views of Mt.Meru to the west and the jagged peak of Mawenzi to the east. Descend to the Barafu Hut in the giant heather zone on the forest edge, those with energy on the summit may wish to descend to the Reutsh crater and visit the dramatic Ice pineacles of the eastern Icefields.

Day 7:
Back to Arusha
A 3 to 4 hour descend through beautiful forest brings you to the Park gate and your transport will be there waiting to take you back to Arusha and overnight at Sinca Court Hotel .

Day 8:
Ngorongoro.
Depart Arusha for Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch at Campsite. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.

Day 9:
Ngorongoro Crater.
Breakfast at the camp and descend to the crater floor for a full day game viewing, Picnic lunch at taken at the crater, hosts unbelievable variety of wildlife. This is an experience to treasure always. Ascend back to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 10:
Serengeti National Park .
Breakfast at Campsite and depart Ngorongoro for vast Serengeti National Park . Stop at Olduvai Gorge , the site for the famous archeological finds by the Leakey family. Lunch at Campsite in serengeti. Afternoon game drive inside the park. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.

Day 11:
Serengeti.
Breakfast followed by morning game drive to different parts of the park. Serengeti is famous for it's annual migration when millions of wildebeest (gnus) and zebras set off for Maasai Mara for better grazing grounds and water. Serengeti boasts of more than 35 species of plains game including the "Big Five" as well as extensive bird-life. Meals and overnight at Campsite.

Day 12:
Lake Manyara National Park .
Early breakfast in Serengeti and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park . Lunch at Campsite near the Park. Afternoon game drive inside the Park, look for and shoot a picture of the curious tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara has a marvelous concentration of game including 350 species of birds. See the simba river populated with schools of Hippo and bird-life. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.

Day 13:
Breakfast in Manyara and depart for Arusha with lunch enroute arriving Arusha in the afternoon .Board your flight to your next destination.

Safari price includes: All Kilimanjaro park fees, rescue fees, climb fees, Camping accommodation, meals, safari park entry fees, Mountain guides and Porters, game viewing drives, customised safari vehicle and safari driver guide.
