Day 1 - Christchurch - Arrive Christchurch, visit Antarctic Centre, relax in New Zealand’s Garden City.
Day 2 - TRANZ-ALPINE TRAIN JOURNEY - To our Wild West Coast. Majestic Southern Alps, Pancake Rocks and Blow-holes. Dairy Farm visit or Horse Trek.
Day 3 - Paparoa National Park. Day walk through fascinating lime-stone canyons. Optional Overnight campout, optional cave visits, with glow-worms.
Day 4 - Jade Search, Coastal Beach and Rainforest walk or Dragons Cave Rafting Tour.
Day 5 - Fourwheel Drive Safari - Visit historic goldmine. Pan for gold. Mystery walk through Chinese gold diggers maze or optional Tunnel Rafting.
Day 6 - Jade Boulder Gallery Tour - Bushman’s Centre Tour - Visit to Shantytown, an 1860’s gold town with steam train. Hot Rock Rafting. Scenic helicopter flight, relaxing in Natural Alpine Hotsprings with N.Z. wines and meal - optional camp out at Hot Pools.
Day 7 - Guided Glacier Walk. Beautiful Lake Matheson Mirror Lake.
Day 8 - Spectacular West Coast Scenery - A land of contrasts. View Penguins on this untamed coastline (July-February) Visit thundering waterfalls of the Haast Pass area.
Day 9 - A Free Day in the exciting Alpine Resort of Queenstown. Optional overnight Farm stay.
Day 10 - Fiordland National Park. Cruise the Milford Sound,
Day 11 - Coach Tour returns you to Christchurch (or Take the Nature Discovery Module Extra cost). Some people fly out of Queenstown at an additional cost.
Costs are per person, 11 day tour includes:
