Tours are offered on both guided and self guided basis. Small groups and we mean it up to six and that’s it. (Single travellers and large private group tours are available upon request.)

Day 1 Florence – Radda in Chianti
* A.M. Meet bike fitting, route brief and safety instruction at Tuscany’s premier rental center.
Choose hybrid, road or mountain bike (men’s or women’s frame available)
* Van transfer to town of Impruneta.
* Ride Profile: This is a classic route taking in the famous Strada in Chianti (Road in Chianti). While our team sets up the bikes explore the Piazza of Impruneta, (the “Citta di Cotto”) where the tiles for Florence’s Duomo were created. Leaving Impruneta on bike we access Strada in Chanti and it’s rolling hills, passing vineyards and olive groves.
We offer three options:
1. Easy: Strada in Chianti to Ferrone for a descent through pine forest followed by a flat ride into town of Greve in Chainti. 25 Kilometers.
2. Medium: Continue along Strada in Chianti past vineyards then on to Greve. Expect rolling terrain with a series of small short climbs. 35 Kilometers.
3. Hardcore: Looking for a real challenge? Leaving Strada in Chianti, begin climbing through the beautiful towns of La Panca and Cintoia continue on through vineyards of Querceto and over Passo Sugame (550 Meters above sea level). Once you reach the summit prepare for a long thrilling descent into piazza of Greve. 45+ Kilometers. (All options include wine tasting stop at Castello Vicchiomaggio);
* Lunch stop with our good friend Tina (top local wine & cheese gourmet) at Café Le Logge.
* After lunch optional ride or van transfer to Radda in Chianti .
* Hotel: check in at Palazzo Leopoldo, (Four Star). This very beautiful classic Tuscan residence has been perfectly restored. This historic residence offers standard, deluxe and junior suite accommodations.
* Meals: Lunch, Dinner included at hotel Perla Palazzo (Choose from extensive wine list, wine not included).
* Note: For your comfort we ask that guests participating in this tour arrive in Florence one day prior to tour start. Should you require an overnight stay in Florence just let us know, we have a wide array of top quality lodgings to choose from. As for activities, guided walking tours, cooking courses, outlet shopping trips to name a few are all available upon request.
Day 2 Radda in Chianti
* Loop ride of area including Gaiole in Chianti, with stop at world famous ceramics manufacturer, Rampini (shipping to your home available), followed by a visit to Castello Brolio, Enoteca Del Castello Di Brolio.
* Ride Profile: Moderate, rolling hills approximately 30 kilometers.
* Meals: Breakfast, Dinner. (Choose from extensive wine list, wine not included)
* Over night, Palazzo Leopoldo
* Cooking Class: Optional afternoon cooking class at your hotel. Learn the simple art of classic Tuscan cooking and enjoy the fruits of your labour!
Day 3 Radda – Donoratico
* A.m Check Out Palazzo Leopoldo;
* Ride: to Castellina in Chianti, with time to sightsee, shop and explore this classic Tuscan village, then back on bikes for a ride to San Donato in Poggio for lunch and private guided wine tasting tour, weather permitting tour of vineyard by Classic Jeep at Podere La Cappella* . This is a privately owned up and coming small vineyard producing 4 varieties, Chianti Classico, Reserve and two “Super Tuscans” (Merlot and Merlot-Sangiovese). The wine is outstanding, this vineyard produces wine for the Vatican. You can purchase directly from them, shipping to your home available. Lunch is prepared for you by the owner’s in their kitchen.
* Ride Profile: Moderate, rolling hills with one small climb, approximately 45 kilometers.
* Van transfer to Castagneto Donoratico
* Hotel: Check in Hotel Tombolo Grand & Spa(Five Star) & Spa. This Antinori owned five star hotel and spa are world class. Hotel is situated on the beach in the heart of the Bolgheri growing area. Bolgheri is home to such noted vineyards as Tenuta San Guido (Sassicaia), Le Macchiole (Paleo) among others.
* Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (exceptional wine list, beverages not included) The food at Tombolo is excellent with your meal plan you can sample the entire menu with out restriction. The Antinori heavy wine list is extensive. Depending on the season we can offer our guests a private tasting with the hotel’s resident wine expert. (additional charges apply).
* SPA: The Spa at Grand Hotel Tombolo includes seven Roman mineral pools heated at different temperatures. Traditional spa treatments are also available. A full list of spa treatments will be sent to you at the time of your booking to ensure availability. This is a very nice way to end a cycle tour. Spa treatments not included pay at time of service.
Day 4 Donoratico
* Ride of area San Guido, Bibbona with stop at vineyard of Le Macchiole
* Ride Profile: Easy, flat terrain, approximately 35 kilometers.
* Meals: Breakfast, Dinner. (exceptional wine list, beverages not included)
Day 5 Donoratico
* Optional loop ride of area or choose spa or beach day.
* Ride Profile: Easy, flat coastal terrain, approximately 35 kilometers.
* Meals: Breakfast, Dinner. Or for a special gourmet dining experience on your final night Gambero Rosso. Located nearby in port town of San Vincenzo, Gambero Rosso one of Italy’s top restaurants. Michelin 2 star, huge wait list must reserve in advance, Small, elegant and expensive, pay at time of service.
Day 6 Donoratico - Florence
* Check Out: Hotel Tombolo Grand
* Van Transfer to Florence
* Meals: Breakfast
* Bike return
* Tour Concluded
