For adventure trips with diving at selected sites along with kayaking and exploration ashore we have our recently launched 48-foot catamarans Mozart and Chameleon along with our 63-foot ketch Stressbreaker.
For full on diving trips our 55 ft ketch Colona II along with our 42 ft catamaran Amadeus are available. Our boats are available for full charter only Moken Sea gypsies in the Mergui Archipelago- Myanmar sailing. Faraway caters for groups of 4 to 8 persons. As we own our vessels we can draw up personalized itineraries suited to guest's interests. There are no restrictive set departure dates to adhere to either further enhancing the planning of a customized charter.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1 - The drive from Phuket takes 4-5 hours with a lunch stop in between at the romantic Kuraburi Green View Resort, which is included in the price. You are then checked out by Thai immigration in Ranong and transfer by longtail boat to Kawthoung, Burma. Once welcoming on board, you can get settled in your cabins, while we finish the rest of the Burmese immigration procedures. We leave for Barwell Island our first anchorage at around 20.00 for a quiet, relaxing evening.
Day 2 - Two dives in the morning and another one in the afternoon. In between you can go on the beach at Great Swinton Island. Anyone interested in a night dive can do so here too.
Day 3:
In the morning depart for Colona Rock, one of the best dive sites to see sharks. We stay for 2-3 dives and set sail in the afternoon for Selat Galet, a passage between two islands. This is a perfect anchorage and will offer you nature pure, as you will see sea eagles, wild pigs and crab eating monkeys.
Day 4 - Early start for our sail to Black Rock, one of Burma 's most famous dive sites. If you are lucky you can see up to 5 different species of sharks here. We stay here for two dives and continue afterwards for Little Torres Island for another dive in the afternoon. Our night anchorage is at Bailey Island, where you have the choice of another night dive.
Day 5 - First dive on Western Island, continue on to Seargent Island and Tower Rock, with 2 dives in the afternoon. This is Manta country! Mantas andDevil Rays have their homes here and we sometimes see them in schools of 60 - 70. We have it on video to proof it!
Day 6 - Dive and explore manta's home grounds. In the evening we will anchor in a lovely little bay where you can sometimes see over a one hundred Hornbills fly past.
Day 7 - Early start to SW rock with one dive, continue on to Little Torres Island. During lunch we sail back to Black Rock for an afternoon dive and set sail for Clara Island our night anchorage.
Day 8 - Early departure for North Twin Island, which boasts huge Gorgonian Fans and schools of fish. We stay here for 2 dives and then continue to South Twin Island for an afternoon dive and another night dive.
Day 9 - This is an interesting place for photographers: South Twin Island offers you fantastic rock formations with swim throughs and nurse sharks, which are 3 meter long! In the afternoon we sail to McCarthy Island for a beach BBQ.
Day 10 - An early dive at Steward Island famous for it's caves and strong currents. Last dive at High Rock and then depart for Kawthoung to arrive around 18.00. After dinner we can visit the town.
Day 11 - A 07.00 departure from the yacht. A longtail boat will bring you back to Ranong. Checking in with immigration in Thailand takes at the most ½ hour. Our minibus will then drive you back to the airport or you hotel in Phuket.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
