This trek is designed as an introductory trek where we stay in clean comfortable lodges. The trek provides you with some sensational mountain views. The initial 2 days after arrival in Nepal is spent exploring the markets, shrines and temples of Kathmandu. Then it is an exciting flight to Lukla the beginning of the trek route. The trail from lukla takes us through pine and rhododendron forests with many of the peaks coming into view. Namche Bazaar the capital of the Khumbu region provides the trekker with some fantastic views.
After a rest day during which you can explore the unique village or take a short hike to Thame, we follow the trail to Tyangboche. This beautiful monastery is located high on a ridge from which one of the best 360 degrees view can be had. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptsee and Ama Dablam are in full from this peaceful location.
After spending some time we begin our return journey and we pass through the pretty village of Khumjung and Kunde. Then it back to Lukla where we will say our good byes to our trek crew with a farewell dinner. Next day we fly back to Kathmandu and a couple of days to reflect on our accomplishment. In Kathmandu you can enjoy the cuisine of the many restaurants found not far from our hotel.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival Kathmandu;
Day 2 - Kathmandu;
Day 3 - Flight to Lukla and begin trek;
Day 4-10 - Everest lodge trek;
Day 11 - Return to Kathmandu;
Day 12 - Kathmandu;
Day 13 - transfer to airport and your flight home.
Price includes:
Experienced guide, porters, national park fees, all food on trek, accommodation in lodges, flight Kathmandu, Lukla Kathmandu, domestic airport tax, 4 airport transfers, 4 nights Kathmandu 3 star hotel bed breakfast twin share, sleeping bag and jacket, safety equipment (portable compression chamber).
