This long trek is an adventurous package best suited to those who have experienced a trek in Nepal before. Kanchenjunga is the third highest of the world's peaks and one of the most remote trekking areas in the Nepal Himalaya.
This route takes you from the south-eastern corner of Nepal at altitude of just 70m to the base camp of this, one of the greatest mountain masses in the world. It is one of Nepal's least trekked areas and certainly one of its most beautiful. From Kathmandu you fly to Biratnagar and commence trekking up Tamur valley along one of the oldest trade routes in the Himalaya. Walking through lush rhododendron forests you climb on into high alpine terrain beyond the village of Gunsa. A camp established high above this village that provides astounding views of Kanchenjunga's South face. Returning to Gunsa you then cross the Lapsung La pass and trek on the Yalung Glacier and Kanchenjunga Base Camp. This really is still exploratory trekking and you must be prepared to take the trail as it comes. But to look up at Kanchenjuga towering south face is easily reward enough for your efforts. Retracing your route to Taplejung you return to Kathmandu, having becomes one of few who have experienced this remarkable and little known region of Nepal.
There are many highlights of this expedition. We start in the tropical lowlands with its intriguing mix of culture and geography and ascend through pristine forest up into an alpine wilderness that is as vast as it is remote. We follow the enormous Kanchenjunga glacier to meet overwhelming panoramic views of this immense massif of rock, before turning on our heels for the return leg of our journey.
Our Kanchenjunga trek offers the explorer a unique experience to discover one of the most remote and beautiful regions of eastern Nepal.

Day 2 - Kathmandu;
Day 3 - Fly to Biratnagar;
Day 4-24 - Kanchenjunga trek;
Day 25 - Fly to Kathmandu;
Day 26 - Kathmandu;
Day 28 - Transfer to airport and your flight home.
