Olga & Maurits Karreman give you a warm welcome aboard. Our shipmate, the dog Dief joyfully offers a paw! The Barge "De 4 Vaargetijden"is a real old-timer. During 1998 it was completely renewed to address all modern passenger requirements. The barges new life as a luxury passenger cruiser started in 1999.
Nevertheless, the ship still keeps its atmosphere from the old "freight-barge" days. Interior and decks are finished in traditional woods and brass style.

Your Itinerary:
Day 1 - Friday - Welcome on board in Rekem, cozy Village-at-the-Castle on the Belgo-Dutch border.
Day 2 - Saturday - Via the canals to Bree, the typical regional architecture can be observed on many places: het Vrijthof, church of St.Michael, the former city hall in Rococco style, and more. Also nice for a relax stroll along the shopping streets.
Day 3 - Sunday - Neerpelt, convivial town aside a large natural reserve at the Dommel.
Day 4 - Monday - Geel, City tours depart from the marketplace along many nice spots in town. shopping is good, and so is a little hike through the protected heathlands.
Day 5 - Tuesday - Olmen, features a Zoo en a Wild-west club!.
Day 6 - Wednesday - St. Huibrechts Lille, Authentic mill, a paradise for a walk or a bicycle ride.
Day 7 - Thursday - Maasmechelen, omnipresent coal mining history and typical "garden" districts. Also features a great outlet center.
Day 8 - Friday - Return to Rekem. Goodbyes after a healthy breakfast around 10AM.
