This tailor-made tour is for everyone who likes to escape into the wilderness of the Andes. During your stay you will not only learn a language, but also a lot about the culture and the history of Chile. The living language Spanish program is for beginners. You want to get in contact with the locals? You will see Chileans in their traditional clothes, see them dance a Cueca, the national dance of Chile, and listen to live and original music. You can touch indigenous handicraft and see interesting historical documents.
Amidst the granite mountain peaks are stands of 3,000 year-old Alerce trees and an amazing variety of wildlife - condors, pumas and songbirds. This horseback riding tour is for non-riders and riders, who are accompanied by multilingual guides. They can choose from among 14 well-trained horses.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Traveling in the morning from Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas or PetrohueC via Ensenada through an amazing scenery to the Riverside Lodge of Campo Aventura. There is time to enjoy the calm surroundings and the private beaches. Dinner with candlelight. Overnight in cabana. (D)
Day 2 - After buffet-breakfast at Riverside Lodge we start the lagoon-trekking tour through an untouched valley with local guide passing by a fantastic waterfall through endemic ferns and flora. Deep through the tranquility of valdivian rainforest scenery continues our unique hiking experience. Lunchbreak at an Andean sea surrounded by 3.000 year-old Alerce trees. Time to rest at the lakefront, enjoying the breathtaking landscape and the turquoise coloured water of the completely untouched lagoon before trekking back to a Chilean farm and enjoying. (B)(L)(D)
Day 3 - Learn more about this unique rainforest by riding into the valley of Cochamo on our welltrained horses. Homemade Picnic on the trail at about miday. We are back at the Riverside Lodge by teatime with excellent bakery. Leaving the Riverside Lodge by bus or private transfer to Puerto Varas/Puerto Montt. (B)
