"Caminos Locos" means "Crazy Ways". We, Juergen, Claus with wife Annette have pionieered this beautiful country Honduras for your driving thrill. The company is based in La Ceiba, a nice, busy town on the honduran north coast, and an ideal starting place for your adventure.
THE ADVENTURE TOUR
Expect anything and everything! You`ll drive easy on smooth, paved coastal highways with breath-taking views, on rough gravel courses, forge fast-flowing rivers, travel through pulsating, drum-beating Caribean hot spots, and remote mountain villages. You may encounter broken bridges, mudslides, pigs or a flock of chicken crossing the road, or a short down pour to cool you off. Only Nature and the unexpected may break your speed.
A detour is possible, but we find our way. Along the way, you`ll be greeted with warm smiles and curious glances by friendly Hondurans. The tour is full of contrast and variety. Ride a canoe through the Mangrove swamps, smoke a fat-handrolled cigar in a cigar factory, visit Copan Ruinas and learn about the life of the Mayan Indians. Cool off under clear waterfalls or soothe your aches and pains in a natural hot-tub. Evenings we relax in personally selected hotels or lodges and enjoy the native cuisine and tropical cocktails.

HERE ARE THE REQUIRMENTS
Most important is that you enjoy motorcycling and don`t mind a bit of grime, grit and sweat. It`s possible for every kind of motorcyclist. For Off-Road-Maniacs we`re able to change our routing. That means, gravel, mud and rivers. Let`s talk about it.
THE EQUIPMENT
You`ll need to bring your:
- motorcycle helmet
- motorcycle clothes, shoes and gloves
- rainsuit (if you like to be dry)
- day-backpack for personal items.
(Your main baggage will be transported in our company car and will meet you at your hotel each evening)
THE OFFER
Price includes:
- YAMAHA XT 350
- Gas and oil
- English-, German and Spanish speaking tour guide
- Driver and Jeep for baggage transport and accompanying non
motorcyclists
- Double room in hotels, lodges or resorts
- Dinners at Native Cuisine ( drinks not included)
- Airport transfers from/to San Pedro Sula > La Ceiba
THE CAPACITY
- 2 - 7 motorcyclists per trip
- with 3 non-motorcyclists to travel in Jeep
OTHERS
You need:
- Passport vailid ( at the last 6 month before expirmation )
- Visas are usually not necesarry
- International Driver`s license for motorcycles, Health, Accident
and Travel Insurance valid in Honduras.
- Immunizations and antibiotics (please discuss with your doctor or clinic several weeks before traveling).

- 70 US $ accompanying non motorcyclist per day.
- 15% extra charge with just 3 motorcyclists
- 25% extra charge with just 2 motorcyclists
Or ask for individual arrangements and daytrips.

- 40 US $ Motorcycle Yamaha XT 350 per day
- 110 US $ English/German/Spanish speaking tourguide/bike per day
- 110 US $ TOYOTA Landcruiser incl. driver per day
These trips are just possible with tourguide. You share the costs for guide and Jeep through the number of participants.
