First part of the trek goes to Merala la east of Lukla. Cross the pass at Mera la and traverse through Hinku basin towards north to Baruntse. Instead of going northeast to west col. and Baruntse you climb the steep wall of one of the ridge of Amadablam. Cross Mingbo la and descend to the West Side of Amadablam. Descend further and walk to Namche Bazar. Walk to Lukla and fly out. Of the entire high adventure trek it is one of the best high altitude traverse that give great view of the Khumbu himal as well as experience the raw beauty of the mountain.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu, tranfer to hotel.
Day 2: In Kathmandu- sort out equipment and last minute shopping.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2804 meter). In Lukla.
Day 4: Chitenga Karka (3445m).
Day 5: Chetara (4177m).
Day 6: Kote (3506m).
Day 7: Tangnag (4192m).
Day 8: Khare (4817m).
Day 9: Khare - Acclimatization .
Day 10: Mera la (5335 m).
Day 11: High Camp.
Day 12: Ascent Mera peak- Return to High camp.
Day 13: Extra day for weather.
Day 14: Cross Mera la and Hunku basin.
Day 15: Traverse Hinku valley.
Day 16: Traverse in Hinku valley.
Day 17: Ascend towards Mingbola.
Day 18: Cross Mingbola.
Day 19: Extra day.
Day 20: Thyangboche.
Day 21: Namchebazar.
Day 22: Lukla.
Day 23: Fly to Kathmandu, tranfer to hotel.
Day 24: In Kathmandu, free day.
Day 25: In Kathmandu, free day.
Day 26: Tranfer to airport, depart Kathmandu.
