First part of the trek goes to Merala la east of Lukla; cross the pass at Mera la and traverse through Hinku basin towards north to Baruntse. Instead of going northeast to west col. and Baruntse you climb the steep wall of one of the ridge of Amadablam. Cross Mingbo la and descend to the West Side of Amadablam. Descend further and walk to Namche Bazar. Walk to Lukla and fly out. Of the entire high adventure trek it is one of the best high altitude traverse that give great view of the Khumbu himal as well as experience the raw beauty of the mountain.
