It is the most popular river for rafting in Nepal. It is popular because of its proximity to Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan Jungle. The road to Pokhara and Chitwan travel almost parallel to the river. It has several sections with easy and exciting rapids. White water section is above Kuringhat; below that is mainly floating trip. Water level determines the point from where you start the raft; it can be either upstream or lower near Mugling. There are nice beaches along the route for camping. Rafting in Trishuli river is best when it is combined with safari in Chitwan or tour to Pokhara or both.

Day 01: We leave Kathmandu at 7am after having breakfast. We drive south-west of Kathmandu on the Kathmandu/Pokhara highway. The drive is about two and half hours approximately. As you come out of the Kathmandu valley and on reaching ‘Nagdhunga’ (the highest point in this highway), one can have a very clear view of the western Himalayas, on a clear day. Starting from Langtang in the east and Dhaulagiri in the west. The drive is through a winding and scenic road. As you reach at ‘Charaudi’ the put in point, you will meet the crew members of your trip. It takes about 45 minutes to inflate the raft and pack all the gears on the raft. You will be provided life Jackets and s short briefing will be given by your river guide. This includes on river safety and handling of the equipment. We set down the river for an exciting day to come. The major rapids on this stretch are known as , Ladies Delight, Upset, Monsoon, Surprise, Bijili and other smaller and medium size rapids (graded 3 to 5 +). After floating down for an hour or so, encountering few of the rapids, we choose a nice clean sandy beach for the lunch and spend about 1 hour for the lunch. After lunch we float further down the river encountering several major rapids. Our camp site for the evening will be at Kuringhat or Kurintar where we will reach around 3pm to 4 pm depending on the water level and time. At the camp tea or coffee with some cookies will be served. A small campfire will be built. Dinner will be served between 6 pm to 7 pm.

Day 02: After breakfast we break the camp and pack all the gears on the raft. We float down the river encountering a few more rapids namely, S-rapid, Mugling part I and II, Double Decker, Tea Pot, Rocky II, Coffee pot, etc Today the river flows between the gorges and the canyons with more vegetation stiff rocks on both sides of the river, good for nature lovers. Afer lunch we pass the confluence of the Trishuli and Seti. The Seti or the White river originates around Mt. Machapuchre, flows through Pokhara main town, forming a remarkable, deep and narrow gorge. After raft return to Kathmandu.
