From Chisapani, on the road to Jiri, walk to Hanumante ridge. Climb the trail gradually to higher elevation at Pamedingma (3511 meter) and cheese factory at Cherdung (3690 meter). View of Gaurishankar himal from the ridge is beautiful. There are few villages on this trek.
You will not meet many trekkers in the entire trek. Gaurishankar trek is in the region north of Jiri. The trail starts and ends near Jiri. The best part of the trek is there are no tea houses and it is away from the crowded trail.
