Benefit from Goat Island Dive’s Eco Tour where you can scuba dive, snorkel and kayak with an abundance of marine life from big Snapper, Kingfish and Moki to Blue Maomao, Crayfish and Stingrays.
The Eco Tour also includes an interesting and informative chat, supported by visual aids, about Goat Island Marine Reserve. As New Zealand’s first Marine Reserve it enjoys a protected environment where marine life has been allowed to flourish.
Visitors can choose from a range of activities and training courses on the Eco Tour charter. Each activity provides an excellent opportunity to really explore this marine wonderland. If you prefer a more relaxed tour, we also offer a ‘sightseer only’ option.
The Eco Tour is available during the summer months from November to April and is about four to five hours long. The Eco Tour charter operates Mondays and Wednesdays only depending on numbers. We require a minimum of four persons for the tour to operate.
