Kunming, the City of Eternal Spring, is the capital of Yunan Provience. It has many places worth visiting, such as Green Lake, the old city wall, and the stone forest, a landscape of towering needle like lime stone rocks. We can also go to Dali, the cradle of the Chinese and Tibetan cultures, to Lijiang, Gyelthang, Dechen, where the Yunan and Tibet meet to Tsakhalo, Markham where the roads to Sichuan and Central Tibet diverge and to Drayab, and arrive in Chamdo, where we take the northern route up to Nagchu and Lhasa.
