Experience a special day cooking with Rosina in the equipped kitchen of her lovely home located in one of the most characteristic and historical towns of Friuli - Cividale - also well known for it top wines, great food (Gubana is a delicious local specialty, a type of strudel with apples, pine seeds, raisins and grappa) and close position to the finest wine cellars of the region!
Rosina is a delightful lady and self-taught cook, very passionate about sharing the many recipes passed down to her from generation to generation in this beautiful corner of north-east Italy. Always using the season's freshest ingredients, she will teach you how to prepare typical Italian and Friulian recipes, followed by lunch paired with local wine.
The cooking class begins at 11 a.m. and lasts approximately 3 hours. In the afternoon, guided visit of Cividale del Friuli, with its famous Devils' Bridge, mysterious Celtic Hypogeum, historical Lombard Temple as well as its lively atmosphere that you can breathe strolling around the narrow cobble stone streets leading to the enchanting Main Square. Alternatively, we can arrange a visit to a local winery with wine tasting.
