The Cyclades are a group of islands of varying sizes scattered over the deep blue waters of the Aegean. Some of them are well known both to the public at large and the international 'jet-set', while others remain litle known and scarcely figure on the tourist scene. Taken as a whole, they make an ideal holiday destination for visitors of the most varied tastes.
A fusion of stone, sunlight and sparkling sea, the Cyclades lie to the east of the Peloponnese and south east of the coast of Attica. They stretch as far as Samos and Ikaria to the east and are bounded to the south by the Cretan Sea. According to the most likely tradition, they owe their name to the notional circle which they appear to form around the sacred island of Delos.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1 - Departure from Alimos marina in Athens or Lavrion Port at 13.00 hrs.Arrival in Kea island at afternoon. Short stop for swimming on cape Sounion.
Day 2 - Departure from Kea to Finikas on Syros island. Swimming on the deserted bay of Grammata on Syros.
Day 3 - Visit to the ruins of the ancient town of Delos. Swimming on Rhinia island. Arrival on Mykonos at afternoon.
Day 4 - Departure around noon to the little nice village of Naussa on Paros. Swimming on beautiful bays in the gulf.
Day 5 - Visit Antiparos and swimm in the famous crystal clear water of the island. Afternoon, heading to Paroikia, the main port of Paros.
Day 6 - Heading to Naxos and the nice little islands of Iraklia and Schinoussa. Quite spots with only one or two restaurants ashore.
Day 7 - After the peacefulness of the tiny islands, the busy island of Ios with the best nightlife.
Day 8 - Visit and overnight on Santorini.
Day 9 - Santorini.
Day 10 - Depart for the picturesque island of Folegandros. Swiiming and excellent underwater fishing on the deserted little islands nearby.
Day 11 - Swimming and snorkelling on some magnificent bays on Sifnos. Overnight in Kamares, the main port of the island.
Day 12 - Round of Serifos island, swimming on Koutalas bay. Overnight in Livadia port with great view of the main village above.
Day 13 - After a swimm stop in some of the nicest bays of cyclades, ovenight in Merichas port on Kythnos.
Day 14 - Return to Athens or Lavrion , swimming on Kythnos or cape Sounion. Arrival late afternoon, around 19.00. Overnight on board, disembarkation next morning at around 10.00.
